Ingredients

  • 9in square brownies

Tiramisu Layer & Assembly

  • 225g mascarpone
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup (30 g.) confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 cup espresso
  • 1 (7-oz.) pkg. ladyfingers
  • 2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder

Directions

  1. Make brownies in a 9in square baking dish. Leave brownies to cool in baking dish
  2. In a large bowl, using a handheld mixer on medium-high speed, beat mascarpone, cream, and confectioners’ sugar until stiff peaks form, 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Pour espresso into a shallow bowl. One at a time, quickly dip ladyfingers into espresso and arrange in a single layer over brownies. Spoon mascarpone cream on top; spread in an even layer. Refrigerate to set, at least 2 hours.
  4. Using a fine-mesh sieve, generously dust brownies with cocoa powder. Using parchment overhang, lift out brownies and transfer to a cutting board. Slice into squares.
