Treat yourself with this delectable caramel and coconut slice recipe.

Ingredients

320g brown sugar 170g butter, melted 2 tbsp (14g) milk powder, toasted 2 eggs 1 Tbsp vanilla 210g plain flour 1 tsp baking powder 2 tsp salt 100g milk chocolate, chopped 100g dark chocolate, chopped

Directions

  1. Combine brown sugar, melted butter, and toasted milk powder.
  2. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Add in the flour, baking powder, and salt, mixing just until no dry flour remains.
  4. Fold in the chopped chocolate and spread into a 30 x 20cm pan sheet pan lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake at 180°C (160°C fan) for 18-23 minutes or until golden brown.

Toasted Milk Powder

  1. Spread milk powder in a thin layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
  2. Bake at 150°C for 5-10 min or until a light golden color.
